Diwali is celebrated with great enthusiasm and is marked by various customs and rituals. One of the important rituals during Diwali is the Diwali Puja, which involves worshiping various deities and seeking blessings for prosperity and happiness.
Lakshmi-Ganesh Puja:
- Start the puja by invoking Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, by offering incense, flowers, and sweets.
- After Ganesha’s worship, offer prayers to Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Light the oil lamp and offer it to the goddess.
- Chant or recite Lakshmi and Ganesh mantra.
